Quick answers
Everything you need to know before you come
You can talk to one person or ten.
Stay for 30 minutes or the whole evening.
You choose your pace.
Can I come alone?
Yes. Many people do.
Social Melting Pot is designed to make arriving alone feel normal.
Do I need to register?
No. You can usually just show up.
But if it is your first time, we recommend getting the weekly details so you know where to go and when to arrive.
Do I need perfect English or German?
No. Whatever language you speak is enough.
Many guests speak several languages, and many are learning German too.
What is the best time to arrive?
For the best experience, arrive between 19:30 and 20:30.
That’s when it is easiest to meet people before it gets too busy.
Is it only for internationals?
No. Locals, internationals, expats, students, travellers and German learners are all welcome. Come for 30 minutes if you’re unsure — no pressure.
What do the language flags mean?
Your top flag shows your native language. The others show languages you speak or want to practise, so people know how to start talking to you.
We’re all here to have a good time
🌈 Everyone belongs here!
No matter your language, background, or story – you belong here. Our friendly TEAM makes sure everyone feels welcome from the moment they arrive.
