What is Social Melting Pot?
A weekly language exchange meetup for open minded locals and internationals. Where you can practice languages and meet friendly people from all over the world. Feel at home in your city!

Can I come alone?
Yes. Many guests arrive solo, that’s totally normal. Say hello to a host at the door… we will help you start. Don’t worry, you will meet people fast!
How does it work?

Take sticker flags. Put your native language on top. Add other languages under it (best to weakest). Join any conversation and say “Hi.” The flags make talking easy.

How much does it cost?
No entry fee. We have a minimum spend of €6 at the venue to support the event.
Is this a dating event?
No. This is for language and community. Be kind and respectful. If you feel unsafe, tell a host.
I only speak one language. Can I come?
Yes. Beginners are welcome. People will help you. You can also listen and learn.
When is the next meeting?
Our events are every week, all year long! Join our event on Facebook or our communities on MeetUp.com so we know that you are coming!
Is there an online group?
Yes! Even though we are an offline event, we do have a big community of Melting Pot members. Introduce yourself, ask for suggestions, arrange meetings and find more interesting people alike!
It gets loud. What if I prefer quiet?
Come early for a calmer start. Ask a host for a quiet corner.
Who will I meet?
Locals and internationals. Students, workers, travelers. People who like languages and like to make new friends.
Do you have photos?
To cover our administrative costs and offer you the best experience we need your help! That’s why we have a minimum consumption of 6€. There is no entrance fee, though.

How many people come?
Often 200–300 guests across our cities each week. Come and see for yourself.
