Real people.
Real stories.
Real community.
We're just a passionate bunch of locals and expats who believe meeting people shouldn't be this hard.

You don't need to prepare anything
From strangers to friends in one night.

No awkward intros
The flag stickers on your chest start every conversation for you. You just have to show up.

Coming alone is normal
Almost everyone walks in solo. That's kind of the whole point — it makes talking to strangers the expected thing.

New to Cologne?
Doesn't matter. Most people are. The mix of locals, expats and travellers is exactly what makes it work.

Quick answers
Your questions about Cologne
Do I need to register?
An RSVP on Meetup.com helps us plan numbers but it's not required. You can walk in on the night — just pay the €6 entry at the door.
What does the €6 include?
Your first drink (up to €6 value) and a set of language flag stickers. The stickers are your icebreaker — people spot your flags and walk up to you.
What language do people speak?
Mostly English, but that's the point — you'll hear Spanish, French, German, Portuguese and a dozen others in the same room. No German required.
How long should I stay?
As long as you want. Most people arrive at 19:00 and end up staying longer than they planned. Come for 30 minutes if you're unsure — no pressure.
Ready when you are
See you in Cologne this week.
No preparation needed. Just show up, grab your flag stickers, and let the evening do the rest.
